BikePark Wales is located in the middle of a national park which is part of the larger Brecon Beacons area. The Brecon Beacons feature iconic rolling hillsides and calming rivers flowing through valleys. It also has a mountain range and lush forests. It is the perfect setting for a mountain bike getaway, but there is an abundance of other outdoor adventures to be experienced as well.

Mountain Bike Trails at BikePark Wales

Welcome to BikePark Wales, one of Europe’s most renowned bike parks. With over 40 trails, starting from green lines for beginners to pro lines for only the experts, it is one of the biggest mountain bike sites. However, it is because of a 10-man team of professional trail builders that make these trails so exciting to ride.

The easier singletrack lines are mostly flowing with small, but fun, features suitable for new riders. The more you increase the difficulty, the gnarlier the trails become with rock sections, jump lines and big drops.

Don’t know which trails suit you? The official BikePark Wales website has, besides a useful map, GoPro POV runs of each trail so you can see where they take you. They also explain in depth the various grade difficulties.

Finally, it is good to know the bike park is open all year and in any weather conditions. Although riding in winter or rainy weather will require some additional prepping for your trip. The bike park also has great services such as uplifts, bike hire, coaching and second hand bikes for sale.

BikePark Wales is an incredible trail centre with attention to detail and the desire to make your ride awesome. Even if you’ve been here before, it’s worth a revisit as trails are continuously improved and developed.
